Der Stroop-Effekt. Eine moderne Replikation

Produktinformationen "Der Stroop-Effekt.

In the Stroop test, the meaning of a word interferes with the task of naming the colour the word is printed in (for example, the word "red" in blue print). Its been aimed for replicating this finding during an experimental training course. 72 participants completed a computer-aided adapted version of the Stroop test in an experimental study. Participants should indicate by keypress, whether or not the meaning of a given word written in black matches the printing colour of a second word. Congruency of the second word was manipulated in three conditions. Mean reaction time on congruent trials was significantly lower than it was on incongruent trials. Mean reaction time on neutral trials (coloured rectangle) was significantly lower compared to congruent trials. The results are applied to and discussed regarding a model of parallel distributed processing as well as past research results.

EU Warranty Label

The European Union is introducing a mandatory, standardized EU label to provide information about consumers’ statutory warranty rights. This will be complemented by a guarantee label where a voluntary manufacturer’s guarantee is offered.

The purpose of this new regulation is to make consumer rights more transparent and to establish consistent information standards across the European Union. Consumers should be able to see at a glance which statutory minimum protections apply, regardless of the country or retailer from which they make a purchase.
