Le pachtou est la langue des Pachtounes. Historiquement, ces derniers vivent principalement en Afghanistan, dans la région pakistanaise de Khyber PakhtunKhwa (KPK), dans les zones tribales sous administration fédérale (FATA), au Baloutchistan et en Iran. Il y a environ 50 à 60 millions de locuteurs pachtounes dans le monde. Le pachto fait partie de la famille des langues indo-européennes. Il fait également partie de la branche sud-est iranienne des langues indo-iraniennes. Il existe trois variétés principales de pachto : le pachto du nord et le pachto central, parlés principalement au Pakistan ; le pachto du sud, parlé principalement en Afghanistan. La langue pachtoune se répand rapidement grâce à sa riche littérature. Les premières traces écrites du pachto remonteraient au XVIe siècle et consisteraient en un récit de la conquête de Swat par Shekh Mali. Le pachto a une longue tradition écrite. Il existe un certain nombre de poètes pachtounes classiques, notamment Khushal Khan Khattak, considéré comme le poète national de l'Afghanistan, qui écrivait en pachtou. Au cours de ce siècle, on a assisté à une expansion rapide de l'écriture en pachtou, notamment dans le journalisme et d'autres ¿uvres artistiques modernes (genres). Les écrits et les écrivains pachtounes jouent un rôle essentiel à cet égard.

The European Union is introducing a mandatory, standardized EU label to provide information about consumers’ statutory warranty rights. This will be complemented by a guarantee label where a voluntary manufacturer’s guarantee is offered.

The purpose of this new regulation is to make consumer rights more transparent and to establish consistent information standards across the European Union. Consumers should be able to see at a glance which statutory minimum protections apply, regardless of the country or retailer from which they make a purchase.
