Wenn verschiedene Kulturen, Meinungen, Kopftücher, Ramadan, Burkas und blonde Haare aufeinander treffen, ist es Zeit für den Deutschkurs für Migranten und Migrantinnen. "Wer noch nie eine Schule besucht hat, kann sich nicht vorstellen, was es heißt, ruhig zu sitzen, konzentriert zu arbeiten, keinen Kaugummi zu kaufen und pünktlich zu erscheinen. Außerdem respektvoll miteinander umzugehen, den Banknachbarn aus einem anderen Land zu achten und die Schulbücher und Hefte immer mitzubringen. Und ja, im Unterricht nehmen gleichermaßen Frauen wie Männer teil, und nein, die Lehrerin trägt kein Kopftuch und dies wird sich auch nicht ändern. Wer etwas sagen möchte, redet nicht einfach drein, sondern meldet sich zivilisiert zu Wort.... Auch der Gang zur Toilette muss einstudiert werden. Die Männer haben auf der Damentoilette nichts verloren und umgekehrt. Und bitte beim Pinkeln hinsetzen und nicht auf den Toilettenrand stehen. Das Waschbecken ist als Dusche ungeeignet und der Seifenspender als Ablage für die Schulbücher oder Handtaschen gänzlich untauglich..."Inschallah - Alles wird gut!

Die Siegertextexte werden nun, zusammen mit einer umfangreichen Auswahl aus den eingereichten Werken, in der vorliegenden Anthologie veröffentlicht. In vielen Fällen sind zur Auflockerung kurze Kommentare zu den Werken beigefügt. Es liegt an der Qualität der Einsendungen, dass eine erfreulich bunte Mischung zusammengekommen ist.
