"Der Sturm auf dem See". Exegetische Arbeit zu Mt 8,8-27
Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Theologie - Biblische Theologie, Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck (Bibel Historisches Institut), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Bachelorarbeit verfasse ich im Rahmen des exegetischen NT-Seminares "Wundererzählungen", welches von Prof. Dr. Martin Hasitschka und Frau Dr. Mira Stare angeleitet und durchgeführt wurde.Das Titelbild welches ich für die Arbeit gewählt habe, stammt von dem niederländischen Maler Rembrandt und trägt den Titel (Christus im Sturm auf dem See Genezareth). Das Bild entstand 1633 und wurde von Rembrandt in Öl auf Leinwand angefertigt. Es zählt zu einem der eindruckvollsten Gemälde der Kunstgeschichte und hat mich sofort angesprochen. Der Künstler bringt in diesem Gemälde die Dramatik des Geschehens meisterhaft und sehr authentisch zum Ausdruck. Die Arbeit beginnt mit der Vorstellung der Perikope Mt 8,18-27, die Erzählung des Seesturmes. Im zweiten Kapitel wird die Abgrenzung des Textes vom Kontext erläutert, worauf die Gegenüberstellung von zwei Übersetzungen (Elberfelder/Luther) folgt. Der Text wird dann auf seine Gliederung und Struktur hin analysiert. Den Hauptteil der verfassten Arbeit bildet die Analyse und Auslegung des Textes. Es folgen Hauptergebnisse und ein Blick in die Wirkungsgeschichte der Perikope. Für diese Arbeit habe ich als Basisliteratur vorwiegend die Kommentare von Joachim Gnilka, Ulrich Lutz sowie Massimo Grilli und Cordula Langner verwendet.

"Suizid" - Fragen über Fragen
Wenn Menschen sich das Leben nehmen, dann löst das Erschütterungen aus, vor allem in den Familien, bei Bekannten und Freunden. Fragen steigen auf, die oft ungelöst bleiben - Fragen über Fragen, die etwa so formuliert werden: "Kann das Leben so unerträglich sein, dass Menschen es aufgeben wollen?"Vor etwa zwei Jahren, im Sommer 2023, konnte sich der Deutsche Bundestag nicht auf einen gemeinsamen Gesetzentwurf zur Thematik "assistierter Suizid" verständigen. Die Zugänge, Positionen und Argumente lagen und liegen auch heute in der öffentlichen und privaten Diskussion zum Teil weit auseinander. Das Kontaktstudium der Theologischen Fakultät Fulda hat im Sommersemester 2024 die aktuelle Debatte aufgenommen und gleichzeitig versucht, auf die Ursachen, Zielrichtungen und Bedingungen von suizidalem Handeln zu sprechen zu kommen. Deshalb kamen neben Theologen mit anthropologischen und ethischen Beurteilungen auch Ärzte mit ihren Perspektiven auf Behandlung und Begleitung zu Wort, vor allem aus den Bereichen der Psychiatrie und der Palliativ-Medizin.Seit einiger Zeit haben sich die Stimmen derer verstärkt, die über Suizid-Prävention nachdenken und eine differenzierte Begleitung, Wachsamkeit und Hilfestellungen einfordern. Wenn dieses Buch behilflich sein kann, der Suizid-Prävention zu dienen, so wäre viel gewonnen.

"YHWH Fights for Them!" The Divine Warrior in the Exodus Narrative
The divine warrior is an important motif in the Old Testament, leading many to study profitably the motif in its most prominent manifestations in poetic texts. This study builds on that foundation by examining the divine warrior in detail in the exodus narrative to construct a broader picture of the motif in the Old Testament.The heart of the work focuses on the exodus narrative. Many aspects of YHWH's actions in the narrative, such as the terminology, his nature weapons, his psychological attacks, the presence of supernatural envoys and disease, and his harmonious relationship with his people identify YHWH's role as that of a divine warrior. Several other elements match the description of the motif of the divine warrior elsewhere in the Old Testament, but are described in more detail in the narrative than in the briefer poetic divine warrior texts. The exodus narrative also expands the martial aspects of the divine warrior, as it includes a broader selection of nature weapons, psychological attacks directed at Pharaoh, the employment of cosmic enemies against Pharaoh, and assaults on the Egyptians gods. Finally, a possible connection between the divine control of Pharaoh (focusing in particular on the hardening of his heart) and the motif of the divine warrior is explored.
